Suspensions have been utilized and marketed for many years; however, they face stability-related challenges that modern approaches and techniques, such as polymer-coated suspensions, nanosuspensions, and encapsulation, aim to overcome. Injectable suspensions are pharmaceutical preparations designed for injection into the body. Oral suspensions are pharmaceutical preparations containing finely divided insoluble particles dispersed in a liquid medium, intended for ingestion. They are a common dosage form, particularly for children, the elderly, and individuals with difficulty swallowing tablets or capsules.
