Growing demand of cosmetic products all over the world from teen to adult has increased awareness related to safety issue. The objective of this paper is to indicate the heavy metal that possess toxicological effect that can be found in cosmetic products. This paper also highlighted the health risk possess by such heavy metal in the cosmetic products. It is suggested that consumer aware over the toxic heavy metals used in their cosmetic and personal care products and the side effects it possess. Heavy metals toxicity to humans can result from long term exposure to consumer products such as the cosmetics and toiletries .It is obvious from the present study that the use of these cosmetic products exposes users to low concentration of toxic heavy metals which could constitute potential health risk to users due to accumulate in the biological system overtime .The purpose of this paper is to indicate appropriate toxicological effect of heavy metals in cosmetic products .The focus is on the heavy metals with known significant toxicological properties : Lead , Arsenic , Cadmium , Mercury , nickel , almunium

- There is no direct description of the disease Hypothyroidism in the classics of Ayurveda. Most Ayurvedic physicians correlate Hypothyroidism with Galaganda which is mentioned in the classics as swelling in the neck. Galaganda resembles Goitre however Goitre has other causes too apart from hypothyroidism. Some scholars even co-relate Kaphaja soth with myxedema of hypothyroidism due to presence of non pitting oedema. All these are but a few clinical features of hypothyroidism where the manifestation is due to defective tissue metabolism. . The main function of Thyroid Hormone is to control the rate of metabolism in the tissues. In Hypothyroidism this rate is slowed down and there is decreased tissue metabolism. This slows down the rate of ATP synthesis, protein synthesis, hampers carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. The hypometabolism that occurs in hypothyroidism is similar to the concept of Manda Agni. Manda Agni leads to the various clinical features similar to features of Hypothyroidism. Accumulation of sub-metabolites like glycosaminoglycans in hypothyroidism, can be co-related with mandagni at the tissue (dhatu) level where decrease in dhatwagni leads to formation of abnormal dhatu(1). Hence we can incorporate the concept of Mandagni in the treatment of hypothyroidism for better management.

- Obesity represents a rapidly growing threat to the health of populations which has detrimental effect on fertility by disrupting the neuroendocrinal and ovulatory functions. One quarter of all obese infertile couples have an ovulatory disorder and 90% of those women with an ovulatory disorder have PCOD. Obese infertile women are at risk of type 2 diabetesmellitus, endometrial and breast cancer.Recent studies have shown that, obese women require higher doses of ovulation inducing drugs and has poor outcome with ART. These interventions are also associated with complications such as ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome, reduce ovarian reserve and pelvic adhesions.InUnani system of medicine, infertility is termed as “Uqr” which occurs due to defect in male mani (sperm) or female mani(ovum) or male and female reproductive organs. It is mentioned in various Unani literature that obesity is associated with infertility.Obesity(siman mufrit) is classified as a balghami marzwhich leads to zoa’fe jigar, sudda jigar, sue mizaj sada (barid ratab) and sue mizaj maddi (balghami) of the uterus, zo’afequwwate tawlide maniwhich alter the ovarian function which resultsin impaired follicle developmentand toole ihtebase mani (chronic anovulation);these factors are responsible for infertility. Principle of treatment includes elimination of cause of infertility (obesity), use of mudirre haiz advia having mufattih sudad property to induce menstruation, use of muwallide mani, muqawwi rahim & mu’ine hamladvia to help in conception. This review givesa complete description of physiology of reproduction, effect of obesity onfertility, diagnosis, principle of treatment and treatment in Unani perspective.

Abstract: Eye is an important sense organ, because its loss of function leads to serious disability of man by keeping him in the darkness. Ayurveda therapies are typically based on complex herbal compounds, minerals and metal substances and Panchakarma (Including Kriya-Kalpa). As many comprehensive and local curative applications has been mentioned in Ayurvedic classics for the treatment of Netra roga, but to rise restrictions of single drug therapy, the tradition of complex drugs came into continuation in consequence of slow acting nature of herbal drugs. Abhishyanda or Netrabhishyanda is classifying as the eye disease affecting all parts of the eye and it is possibly correlated with conjunctivitis. The gravity of Abhishyanda is such that it is often said to be the cause of all eye disorders. Acharya Sushruta has enumerated it under communicable diseases. Shigruharidradi Eye Drop (external) and internal Rasayanadi yoga (Arogyavardhini Ras, Khadira Churna, Rasayana Churna, Haridra Churna) used were selected in the treatment of Nertabhishyanda. Individual ingredient of Shigruharidradi Eye Drop having properties like Chakhsushya, Vranaropan, kadughna Vedana Sthapaka and Shothahara which is possibly effective on Nertabhishyanda. Allergic conjunctivitis is type of conjunctivitis treated with immune-modulator drug Guduchi, Amalaki, Haridra. In this article emphasis Shigruharidradi Eye Drop and Rasayanadi yoga. Ayurveda is an ancient science of healthy and happy living and applies their knowledge for the wellbeing of humanity. Today it is observed that when there is a change in the season, humans change their dietary pattern and lifestyle. Nature also binds them to change their lifestyle. It is also observed that according to various seasons our Aahara and Vihara undergo a change. In the early stage, body tries to compensate this stage by demanding a particular food and drink of specific Rasa, Guna, Virya and Vipaka. viz in case of Vata Vriddhi, body demands for Ushna and in state of Pitta Vriddhi body demands for Sheet Aahara and Vihara. Rakta is one of the most important Dhatu of our body, the status of other Dhatu depends on this .When Rakta Dhatu, gets deminute in the body initially body tries to compensate this condition by showing Amla sheet Prarthana. In the Sushrut Samhita, it was quoted that in kshaya stage body demands for particular type of food if we fulfill that demand then the Dhatu comes in normal state. Therefore, the aim is to study whether individual having Rakta kshaya has craving for Amlasheet Dravya. This observational study was carried out on 76 anaemic patients attending OPD and IPD of Government Ayurved College hospital Nagpur. Anaemic patients were further assessed with LAM (Labeled affective magnitude scale) to study up to which extent Amla Sheet Parthana were present. In this study out of 76 patients 50% like Amla Sheet food in direct questioning while 59.21% like Amla and Sheet food by LAM. The mean of both question result was 54.61%.From observational data it was concluded that Amla Sheet Rasa craving was present in most of the anaemic patients

- An imbalance in the arrangement of Agni (digestive enzymes) and Dosha are the major reasons behind all disorders. This gradually act upon Immune system, causing Oja Kshaya (deterioration of body strength) and adversely affect each and every Dhatu (tissue level). In some cases one's mind will also get affected leading to either depression ,anxiety or stress (Klonopin Clonazepam) and so on. Among the clinical features of Adrenal Insufficiency, Fatigue, depression, anorexia, emaciation diarrhoea, nausea, vomitting ,hyper pigmentation etc: mimic various disorders. Hence there is chance for misdiagnosis. However through proper investigations, Adrenal Insufficiency can be diagnosed. The main objective of presentation is to provide an awareness about the gland, its hormones and associated diseases mainly the autoimmune Adrenal Insufficiency . The Adrenal gland and Kidney (Vrikka) together forms the Moolasthana (origin or governing site) for Medovaha Srotas (channels carrying nutrition). Medas (fat / adipose tissue / marrow) being Pruthvi (earth elements) and Jala (water elements) predominant area , Kapha dosha will be dominant in this area. There will be the involvement of Apana Vata (type of vata) also in this area. The Lakshana or symptoms of patients often shows the possibility that there is Vata Prakopa (vitiation of Vata) and Kapha Kshaya (decreased kapha). Hence treatments should be scheduled to regulate Apana Vata and Kapha Vaishamyata (imbalance),rapy.such as Brimhana therapy . Thus Dhatupaka or Dhatu Kshaya (degeneration of tissues) can be corrected and Ojovrudhi ( increase in health or strength ) can be achieved .
